A Chulah is a low cost, fuel efficient cookstove. Made with lime mud bricks and an elevated earthen platform, the Chulah can withstand rain, floodwaters or earthquakes. Spiritual Chords has taught women how to build their own Chulahs, thus empowering these women to express their creativity and provide dignity to themselves.
